As an artist, I love diving into the archives of my portfolio to revisit past work. Each wedding I’ve had the pleasure of capturing holds a special place in my heart, but there’s one in particular that always stands out: Rose and Christopher’s St. Philip’s Church wedding in downtown Charleston. It was an absolute fairytale come to life.

This St. Philip’s Church wedding was the epitome of simple, effortless elegance. Everything was just perfect, from the shared laughter and warmth between friends and family to the stunning setting of the historic Charleston church.

Rose’s wedding dress was layered and oh-so-dreamy. She had delicate flowers tucked ever-so-preciously in her hair. The little ring bearers and flower girls were so adorable and cheeky, and their enthusiasm was just as infectious as the love in the air. With so much practice, they helped Rose carry her dress down the aisle without even a single stumble.

One of my favorite moments of this St. Philip’s Church wedding was seeing the huge grin on Rose’s dad’s face as he walked her down the aisle. It was a moment filled with so much love, pride, and magic – like something straight out of a movie.

The wedding was timeless in every sense of the word and it feels like it was only yesterday. It was truly unforgettable. And what’s even more special is that I heard from Rose’s mom not too long ago. It turns out that the happy couple is soon expecting their first child! It’s amazing how time flies by.
